Enjoy this month’s top 5 songs of the week including Lea Michele, Luis Fonsi, Banks, Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus!
As some of you may know, I have been doing these kind of posts since last year but I started doing them monthly since this year. This month’s Top 5 Songs of the Week are Pop, Reggaeton/Pop, Alternative/Pop. Soft Rock from known and well-known artists. So, without further ado, let’s get right into the post!
TOP 5 SONGS OF THE WEEK
5. Heavy Love by Lea Michele
If you are following me on Twitter (@namelessjeff) you may know that I’ve been SO obsessed with this album. Every single song on Lea Michele’s new album PLACES is amazing but this one has been stuck in my head for the past couple of weeks. Lea Michele is a really talented artist. She has an amazing voice and this album is so underrated. If you like Barbra Streisand or Céline Dion, you will definitely enjoy this album.
4. Despacito (Remix) by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber
I’m not gonna lie, I don’t like reggaeton but I have to admit this song has something. I liked the song before the remix was released but this version made me like it even more. I also like Enrique Iglesias’s Súbeme La Radio, after listening a cover by Conor Maynard. These two songs are really good and catchy.
3. Crowded Places by Banks
This song give me so much calm. I’ve discovered Banks a few years ago and this song is just so amazing. If you’re into artists like Lana Del Rey or FKA twigs, Tove Lo or Charli XCX (to name a few) you’ll like Banks.
2. From the Dining Table by Harry Styles
This song is my favourite song of Harry Styles’s debut solo album. From the moment I heard it for the first time, I knew it would be my favourite one. I’ve been a massive fan of Harry for so many years now and I can say I’ve seen his music evolution and I couldn’t be more proud of him.
1. Malibu by Miley Cyrus
After so many years of waiting, Miley Cyrus is finally back and better than ever. Malibu is such an amazing, beautiful song and have been on repeat pretty much since it was released. I’m really excited for this new era and I’m also really intrigued how her new album will be like.
As I’ve said on previous posts, I’m always looking for new music recommendations. You can leave a comment down below with songs or artists I should listen to or you can tweet me.
All these songs are featured on my May 2017 Playlist. You can check it out here.
