Blogmas | Day 9 – Top 5 Christmas Films

On the ninth day of Blogmas…

Another thing I like to do during this time of the year and, specially on Christmas week, is watching Christmas films.

There is nothing like spending a cold afternoon watching Christmas films in warm clothes, blankets and drinking hot drinks, like a good cup of tea or a hot chocolate. I like a lot of Christmas films but today I’m sharing my top 5 Christmas films.

Top 5 Christmas Films

5. A Christmas Carol (2009)

It may not be the best Disney’s film but I really like A Christmas Carol. I watch it every year and I still enjoy it like it was the first time.

4. Elf (2003)

If you want to have a good laugh, I really recommend this film. Some of the scenes are very hilarious!

3. The Polar Express (2004)

One of my favourite Christmas animated films. I think it’s one of those films where everyone can enjoy it, from kids to teens to adults. It has everything, good characters, good music, it’s in 3D and last, but not least, it has the Christmas spirit.

2. Home Alone 2: Lost In New York (1992)

Okay, the second part of Home Alone may not be as good as the first one but it’s still one of my favourite films ever. My favourite scene from this film is when Kevin gives the Bird Lady a turtle dove.

1. Home Alone (1990)

I watch Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost In New York every year and I never get tired of it. All the characters, the scenes… I like everything about it. My favourite scene from this film is definitely when Kevin tricks Marv into thinking that a shooting has happened in his house with a movie clip. It makes me drop dead laughing every time.

What is your favourite Christmas film?

Until tomorrow,
